Oppo A58 is to house 5G capable Dimnesty 700 Chipset and 108-megapixel camera

Oppo released the A57 lineup this year as a refresh to A57 from 2016. The company is now ready to unveil the next smartphone in the series, the Oppo A58. Evan Blass shared its details on 91mobiles.

It is believed to house the 5G capable MediaTek Dimnesty 700 chipset with configurations ranging from 6GB/128GB to 8GB/256GB with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. It will come with ColorOS 12.1 based on Android 12 out of the box.

It will feature a 108-megapixel primary camera and a 50-megapixel secondary camera on the back. Selfies will be handled by an 8-megapixel shooter in a V-shaped notch.

The display is expected to be 6.56″ HD+ with a 90Hz refresh rate. The battery is reported to be 3880mAh with 33W fast charging. The battery capacity seems less than the competition as most companies have settled on 5000mAh for a midrange phone of this size.

Release Date and Availability

Oppo A58 is expected to be released on 14 Nov this year. It will be available in Tranquil Sea Blue, Breeze Purple, and Starry Sky Black colours.
