Rumour has it the long awaited album is about to be announced.
Update: The album is due on October 21st. We’re expecting the date to be officially announced soon. For now the news is sourced from Arctic Monkeys roadie with several Arctic Monkeys superfans confirming. It’s the week after heavy acts such as The 1975, RHCP and Tove Lo release their albums. The same day Arctic Monkeys’ is releasing, only two semi-mainstream US acts are competing for the spot, Carly Rae Jepsen and Tegan and Sara.
Original story: Matt Helders, the drummer, has been teasing the album since earlier this year and while there has been some delays the seventh album seems to be close. The rumour says it’s being announced this week, either today or tomorrow, with a live performance in Turkey. Nothing has been officially announced and only a new tour t-shirt has surfaced. Has it Leaked has been teasing the album for months now, only recently declaring that the album is about to be announced.
Another Twitter user has claimed the album is due out in October but there hasn’t been any legitimate source backing it up.
