Assassin’s Creed Mirage: The Forty Thieves Quests

Mirage itself isn’t officially confirmed yet and now its DLCs are being leaked.

The existence of Assassin’s Creed Mirage was no secret. The game was previously known as AC Rift and was rumored for a long time.

A couple of days ago, a plethora of information about the game found its way to the internet. A well-respected journalist, Jason Schreier, corroborated some of the claims. Check out our previous article for more information.

Today, one more leak is circulating the web. The artwork of a DLC was leaked via the Ubisoft Store. The leak contains two similar-looking pictures. The only difference is the existence and omission of the heading.

The heading, The Forty Thieves Quests, makes the pictures more credible. The previous leak claims that AC Mirage takes place in Baghdad. The Forty Thieves could very well be referring to the Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves — a famous Iraqi fork tale.

The pictures first went viral on Twitter. However, they were quickly taken down, probably due to DMCA by Ubisoft. While not an actual confirmation. I think it’s safe to say that the leak is accurate.

The quest is probably a mission pack DLC and not a single-player expansion. It could be similar to The Way of the Berserker DLC, a pre-order bonus for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

Ubisoft is holding a live stream event on September 10. There is a good possibility that Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be unveiled there.
