Iranian hackers released files related to Iran’s nuclear projects
After giving the authorities a 24-hour deadline, the hacktivist collective Black Reward disclosed a trove of nuclear-related papers on Saturday.
The organization claimed to have hacked Iran’s Nuclear Power Production and Development company’s email system on Friday, threatening to reveal the company’s records if the government continues to crack down on demonstrators. Additionally, it stated that 50 GB of data in total were collected.
Black Reward had already issued a warning that until the Islamic Republic releases all political prisoners and imprisoned protestors, it will expose the material it has collected within 24 hours.
They also urged the media to run in-depth articles on these papers and to consult specialists in related sectors.
The group also disclosed earlier in the week that it had gained access to the managers’ and staff members’ emails at Press TV, the government’s English-language international news station.
