According to a search warrant and property receipt leaked to WSJ, Fox news, and Breitbart – the FBI uncovered classified documents at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate.

Multiple reports indicate that the FBI recovered 11 sets of classified documents from former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate, including some marked top secret and only meant to be available in special government facilities.

According to a leaked inventory of what was taken from the Palm Beach resort, agents removed around 20 boxes as well as a handwritten note, photo binders, and Trump’s clemency grant to longtime adviser Roger Stone.

A three-page list states that the classified materials collected included four sets of top secret documents, three sets of secret documents, and three sets of confidential documents. Top Secret is the highest level of classification that the United States government can assign to information – which is why the leaked inventory seems troubling for many in America.

Activists and Journalists across twitter seem to be puzzled as to why this information was leaked to select news organizations given the sensitivity of the matter. Many believe the entire raid to be part of a political agenda – an idea echoed by Trump repeatedly.

Trump, however, expressed his support for the release of the documents, writing on his Truth Social platform early Friday that he is “ENCOURAGING the immediate release.” This came in response to a motion by the Department of Justice (DOJ) to unseal the inventory earlier this week.

The former president’s lawyers have argued that he used his authority to declassify the now-seized material before leaving the White House, a message which Trump has reiterated in response to the leak.
