Battery capacities, Display Size, and Camera specs are Spotted on FCC

Samsung is ready to launch the S23 lineup at the Unpacked event in Feb next year. S23 Ultra will be the star of the show, accompanied by the S23 and S23 Plus. The specs of later 2 are spotted in the FCC listing and are in line with other leaks and rumors.

Both phones will bring bigger batteries than their predecessors. S23 will have a 3900mAh battery, which is 5.5% bigger than the S22, while the plus variant will house a 4700mAh battery instead of the 4500mAh in the S22 Plus. The battery life of phones is expected to be significantly better as Samsung is working on a highly optimized light mode for the S22 series.

Both phones will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. The chipset has scored strongly in GeekBench and incredible performance is expected. The displays will be 6.1″ and 6.6″ in S22 and S22+, respectively. Both displays will be 1080p with a 120Hz refresh rate. We have already reported S23 Ultra bringing huge improvements to Display.

The selfie camera will have a huge jump in resolution to 32 megapixels (10MP in S22). The main cameras will stay at 50MP, accompanied by a 10MP 3x Zoom lens and a 12MP fixed-focus ultrawide camera.
