Ahead of its launch in China, the upcoming Redmi Note 12 Series has been spotted on JD.com, an e-commerce platform.

Xiaomi will likely launch its new Redmi Note 12 series smartphones soon in China. Listings of the smartphones in the Redmi Note 12 flagship have been found on a Chinese e-commerce website JD.com. These listings on JD.com were spotted by Mukul Sharma, a popular tech tipster on Twitter.

The listing screen grabs Mukul shared on his Twitter page revealed that the Redmi Note 12 flagship series will include the Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12 Pro, and Redmi Note 12 Pro+. The allegedly listed items include a picture of a smartphone hidden by a crimson fabric, implying that the devices won’t be made public until later.

The description on the listing confirmed that the entire flagship of the Redmi Note 12 series will support 5G internet connection. Several rumors are suggesting that the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ will support 210W fast charging, Redmi Note 120 Pro to support 120W and the vanilla Redmi Note 12 will offer 67W fast charging.

A recent report suggests that the Dimensity 1080 chip, which became official earlier this month, will be installed in the Redmi Note 12 Pro and Note 12 Pro+ devices. The three Redmi phones recently appeared on the China Compulsory Certification (3C) database with model numbers 22101316C, 22101316UCP, and 22101316UC respectively.

Given that the Note 12 series trio has now been discovered on JD.com, it seems as though it won’t be long before it becomes official. The smartphones are expected to launch this year in China but arrive in the global market by the first quarter of 2023.
