Star Wars Eclipse

The new game will be shown during a behind-the-scenes presentation. Whether it will be present at Opening Night Live isn’t clear at the moment.

Quantic Dream will reveal a new game at Gamescom, or at least that is what the reputable leaker Tom Henderson claims.

Henderson reported a few hours ago that Quantic Dream, the developer behind Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls, and Detroit: Become Human, will reveal a new game at Gamescom 2022.

The leaker claims that the QD title will be announced during a behind-the-scenes presentation. Although the game will likely be present at Opening Night Live, it’s still not 100% clear.

According to Tom’s sources, the developer is currently working on three projects.

  • The first one is Star Wars Eclipse, announced during The Game Awards 2021.
  • The second one is Spellcaster, a mobile game being developed in collaboration with NetEase.
  • The last one is Dreamland, which is a heroic medieval fantasy and humor game in development since 2015.

It is suggested that Dreamland will be shown at Gamescom. However, an announcement related to Star Wars Eclipse is still possible.

Thankfully, we won’t have to wait long to find out if the rumor is accurate or not. The gaming event will take place in a few hours. While the event will go on for several days, Opening Night Live will finish today only.
