PlayStation Event

The leaker has sent the recording to two people in private, one of which made the clip public.

The existence of Helldivers 2 was confirmed yesterday when a short clip of the game was leaked. Twitter user, @DoodMarvelous, posted the 10-second clip. However, the video was quickly taken down. But it’s the internet we are talking about. Nothing is never truly gone from the net, now is it?

The clip quickly spread on the internet like wildfire and has been shared by several people. However, that’s not the most interesting thing.

Today, a prominent leaker, Dusk Golem, revealed on ResetEra that he was the one that recorded the leaked clip. He claimed that he sent the video to two people in private, and one of them leaked it to the public.

He further claimed that Sony will hold an event in September. This shouldn’t come as a surprise as Sony is due for a major event. Also, for the last few years, their major events have taken place in September only.

Previous rumors suggested that the event will take place this month. While an August event is still a possibility, a September event is much more likely.

The publisher has tons of games to show to the public including God of War Ragnarok and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. Sony could reveal more first-party titles as well.
