Samsung insider reveals that the Galaxy S23 Ultra will be similar to the S22 Ultra design-wise.

A renowned Samsung insider, Ice Universe, revealed that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra would feature minimal changes to the S22 Ultra. The changes mentioned as of now pertain to the design aspects of the smartphone, and changes to technical specifications remain unknown.

The Samsung fanbase is currently awaiting the launch of the Z-series smartphones – slated to launch on August 26. The leaks for the Z-series devices were rampant in the last couple of months. At this point, it seems Samsung is also playing along with the leaks and using them to its advantage in creating the necessary hype.

Samsung’s S-series lineup consists of several smartphones, with the Galaxy S-Ultra being the flagship model. According to Ice Universe, the Galaxy S23 Ultra will be slightly thicker than the S22 Ultra, feature a 5000mAh battery, 6.8-inch display with a 3088×1440 screen resolution, and encased in a 9.8mm body. The insider goes on express that as long as the smartphone ships with a Snapdragon 8 Gen2 and One UI 5.1, the phone’s appearance wouldn’t matter much.

With the S22 Ultra, Samsung discontinued the Note series. This diversion entailed reimagining the Galaxy S Ultra devices to offer the best of both worlds to Ultra and Note fans. As long as Samsung manages to retain the signature boxy design, fans wouldn’t have much to complain about.
