Renders show a smaller footprint with a smaller display
We showcased the Google Pixel 8 Pro renders yesterday, revealing a flat display and an additional camera. Today, we have obtained the vanilla Google Pixel 8 renders and videos, which show a surprisingly different size from the previous year’s model.
According to renders, the Pixel 8 will have 150.5 x 70.8 x 8.9mm dimensions, making it 5mm shorter and 2.4mm narrower than the Pixel 7. The upcoming model is expected to sport a 5.8-inch screen, smaller than the Pixel 7’s 6.3-inch display. Additionally, the renders depict slimmer bezels around the screen of the Pixel 8, along with a centred punch hole cutout that remains the same.
The phone will feature a dual-camera setup and a camera visor on the rear. It is expected to share most of its specifications with its big brother, the Pixel 8 Pro, and will likely be unveiled at the Google I/O event in May 2023.
