Motorola India has made an official announcement, confirming the launch of the Motorola MotoG72 in October

The creator of the first mobile phone, Motorola has been rolling out new sets of smartphones globally since the beginning of this year. Yesterday, a tweet from reliable tech influencer @onleaks further revealed that the firm has no intention of halting the ongoing release of smartphones into the market this year. @onleak revealed that Motorola is preparing to announce the debuting of a new smartphone codenamed motoG72. 

Taking to its official Twitter account in the early hours of today, Motorola India has made an official announcement, confirming the launch of the Motorola MotoG72. According to the tweet, the launch is scheduled to occur early next month on October 3rd.

Design and Specs

Following information from the leaks, this smartphone will come with India’s first in segment Billion Colour 10-bit 120Hz, OLED Display with an in-display fingerprint scanner and storage space up to 256GB storage and 8GB RAM. It is built to run on Android 12 out of the box, 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.

The smartphone back panel houses a rear camera with a lens of 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP depth and a 16MP selfie lens. 

Information about the internal processor with which the offering will be powered currently remains unknown. However, there are rumors that it might work on Qualcomm Snapdragon 695, the same processor that powered its predecessor, Moto G71 which was released earlier this year. 

Launch, Price, and Availability

The MotoG72 global debuting is expected to take place on Monday, October 3rd in India. We don’t have any genuine information about the price of the offering yet but random speculations from Motorola users guessed the price will be around Rs.14,990 in India. 

The product will be available on Flipkart by Monday, in  Blue, Silver, and Black colors.
