Someone in Target’s distribution center, DC discovered the Pixel Watch in its retail packaging

The much anticipated Google Pixel Watch will most likely launch alongside Google’s next generation of Pixel phones, Google Pixel 7 and Pixels 7 Pro which are scheduled for launch by October 13 according to the latest leaks.

Speculations are made about the release inferring from the newest discovery made by someone over the weekend. Someone in Target’s distribution center, DC discovered the Pixel Watch in its retail packaging and felt inclined to share. He snapped the package and sent it over to his friend who made the leak through Reddit.

The leak on Reddit didn’t reveal any other information about the newest Pixel watch except for the image.

The Reddit source wrote on a PixelWatch subreddit:

“This is all I have unfortunately. My friend opened a wrong package by accident and came across them. So he sent me only that picture since he knew I’m waiting for the release. It got me very excited though!”

On the package box from the leaked image, there is a “with FitBit” branding tag. Google acquired the wearable fitness giant, Fitbit last year. We don’t know what part of the watch design FitBit contributed to yet, however, we’re certain that the Google smartwatch integration with FitBit will be a significant selling point for the Pixel Watch.

We are aware that the watch will have a big, elliptical, all-glass face, exclusive wristbands, and “deep connectivity” with Fitbit’s fitness monitoring platforms. Google’s first in-house built smartwatch is the Pixel Watch so we’re anticipating a big interesting feature story at its upcoming launch event.
