Huawei P60 will feature Centered Pill-shaped punch-hole mimicking iPhone 14 Dynamic Island.

Huawei has had multiple setbacks in the past, but it refuses to back down. The company is gearing up to launch its P60 line-up at MWC, which will be held from February 27 to March 2.

According to the leaks and rumors, it will be the first mainstream phone to get inspiration from the iPhone 14’s dynamic island. A pill-shaped cutout will house 2 selfie cameras in the top center of the screen. The previous generation of the P-series had a single camera punch hole in the display, which will be a significant departure for Huawei.

We don’t know much about other specs, but the processing will likely be handled by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, and the OS will be Harmony OS 3. A Kirin-powered variant might also be sold in some regions. As the legacy of Huawei’s P-series, the highest-end P60 Pro will bring significant improvements to the camera. We expect a 50MP main sensor with variable aperture, just like the Mate 50 Pro. A 64MP sensor will handle zoom capabilities. The Leica branding for the camera is here to stay for a more professional camera experience.

We can only guess about the phone’s other specs until it’s officially released at MWC Barcelona.
