Honor is reigniting the MP war with a 160MP Rear Camera and Dual 50MP Front Camera

While the Honor Magic 5 is scheduled to launch on 23 November, the Honor 80 line-up is supposed to go official later at the end of this year. There will be three models; Honor 80 vanilla, pro and pro+. The Honor 80 Pro+ will be the star of the show with a 160-Megapixel camera and Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset.

The leakster Digital Chat Station revealed this information and falsified the previous claims of a 200MP camera. According to the new reports, the Honor 80 Pro+ will have two 50MP sensors on the front. It will be the IMX890 1/1.56” sensor. The reports do not clearly state that it will house the front or one of the rear cameras. It will have support for 100W charging. A curved AMOLED display with 1.5k in resolution will be seen.

Additionally, the Honor 80 will come with Dimensity 1080 while the Honor 80 Pro will house Snapdragon 778G chipset. The pro model is tipped to have a 108MP camera. The information about battery and display sizes is still unknown. Stay tuned for that.
