Bloodborne PC port and PS5 patch are possible and not just a fool’s dream.

Bloodborne is one FromSoftware game that is stuck on PlayStation 4. Yes, you can technically play the title on PS5, but it’s only available in 30FPS. If a modder is accurate in his claim, then a proper PS5 patch or a full-blown PC port might not be a fool’s dream.

Remaster or Port?

Lance McDonald, the modder who released an unofficial 60FPS patch for Bloodborne, made some bold affirmations. He tweeted, “there are literally zero technical barriers between Bloodborne and a PC/60fps PS5 port/re-release”.

He claimed that the 60FPS patch in PS4 only requires changes in two lines of code and that Japan Studios had the game working on Windows 7. Now that’s a bold statement from a modder, but given that he got Bloodborne running in 60FPS, we think there might be some credibility to this claim.

Bloodborne PC & PS5 Release date

McDonald believes that a Bloodborne-related project should already be in the works, and we share his optimism. The said title is considered one of the best PS4 games. Sony will make a bank by re-releasing it on PS5. Bloodborne demand for PC is also extremely high.

We speculate that we will get a PS5 patch or PC port by 2024. We also won’t say no to a remaster.
