The album is set to leak very soon.
Update: The album has now leaked on music piracy peer-to-peer network Soulseek.
We do have an insider who provided us with correct Arctic Monkeys’ info, but this hardly needs an insider. Arctic’s album “The Car” is getting a physical release along side its digital version and retailers have received copies today in the UK and EU.
Promo copies have been out for a while now but a leak hasn’t surfaced. They are usually shared via link and use a watermark system few are able to crack. Paste Magazine broke the review embargo and gave it a 7.7 rating.
When will The Car leak?
If not today, at the latest on Thursday. While retailers have received copies, a few fans have gotten their vinyl copies early. On both Instagram and Reddit people have bragged about them having advance copies. A vinyl rip is likely to pop up if the CD version isn’t being shared ahead of the official release date.
Why would it leak ahead of its retail release? Look at Beyonce’s latest, one of the few artists who still get physical copies out on release day. It leaked five days before actually sold. All due to a Target employee who sold a copy early.
We highly recommend stay away from Googling “The Car leak” and similar searches. Most, if not all, are there to sign you up to spam or in worst cases, get you to install malware or get you to pay for non-existent products and services. After all, it’s only a few days left to enjoy the album on a streaming service or vinyl.
