Map Leaks

Many leaks regarding GTA 6 maps have surfaced online, particularly through Reddit. Rumor has it that the game’s map will be similar to that of GTA San Andreas; featuring three big cities and one small town. The game will be set in Florida. Rumored locations include the following:

• Vice City
• Liberty City
• The Republic of Castellano
• Rio de Neve
• Mexico
• Minor Cities
• People’s Republic of del Castro

According to the old leaks, the size of the map would be very large. It was rumored that it would be the size of RDR2 and GTA V maps combined but some more recent rumors suggest that it will be medium sized. There are suggestions that the map of GTA 6 will be fluid and will evolve and change with DLCs.

GTA 6 Release Date

GTA 6 is still in development and will not be ready for release anytime soon. Rockstar is keeping things very close to the chest so there is no telling when the game will launch. There is no news about GTA 6 trailer either. Recent rumors put the release date of the game in 2023-2025.

GTA 6 Gameplay

Leaks and rumors suggest that the game will be split across different time periods. Players would be able to control four main characters. Missions in the game will not be as linear as in RDR2 or GTA V. The hand-to-hand combat system and gun mechanics will likely be similar to RDR2. It has also been suggested that GTA 6 could feature gang members and police, with the recognizable sandbox gameplay.

GTA 6 Price

It is being said that Grand Theft Auto 6 is going to be the most expensive title in the franchise. Considering the release pattern of the GTA franchise, the new title will likely cost at least $70 at release. DLC prices could be around the same range as GTA 5, e.g. $9.99.

GTA 6 Main Characters

GTA 6 will reportedly feature four main protagonists. They will supposedly include a driver named Walther Wallace, a drug dealer called Marcus Burke, and Thomas Branigan who owns a smuggling plane labeled “the Raven”. The brains of the group will likely be a female. She specializes in tech and hacking. Apart from these, an unidentified former Israeli IDF agent has also been rumored.

GTA 7?

GTA 6 leaks are surfacing on the internet on regular basis. From rumors about exploring London to returning to Vice City and even mentions of GTA 7, there are a lot of uncertainties for what lies ahead. While these leaks have neither been confirmed nor denied by Rockstar, you should take them with a grain of salt. RDR2 had similar leaks before its launch and it is likely that we will see more elements from this most anticipated GTA title.
