Atomic Heart

Leaked screenshots of Atomic Heart reveal intriguing environments and a weird statue.

Atomic Heart, the BioShock-akin game set in alternative Soviet Russia, is the latest title to suffer from a leak. Some users are playing the game earlier than most, and one of them is responsible for what happens next.

Edit: The screenshots have been removed from Imgur.

Multiple screenshots from the early parts of the game are spreading on the web. These pictures reveal a variety of distinct environments, including a city, a small river, and a forest area. A weird-looking statue that seems like a hand holding an atom can also be seen in the photos.

One of the pictures shows off the Main Menu of the game. In the background, we can see a man holding a melee weapon that we can use in-game. Others show notes such as “They’re still working on robots’ navigation system”.

Do keep in mind that these images don’t represent the final product. Atomic Heart is more than three months away, meaning the developer can change a few things if needed.

The original leaker claimed that the beginning of the game was “boring.” Maybe, the devs will rework the intro to better hook players. These extra months will also be crucial for polishing and fixing any major bugs. The devs won’t want a Cyberpunk-like situation at launch.

We think there’s a good chance that Atomic Heart will appear at The Game Awards 2022. Check out our previous story for more information.
