We found leaked information about the design and specifications of the upcoming TCL 40 R smartphone

The Chinese tech company –TCL is known for its mid-range affordable smartphone models. The latest renders obtained by 91mobiles and published as ‘exclusive news’ have revealed the key details about the newest set of budget-friendly smartphones TCL is about to release. 

The unreleased smartphone –TCL 40 R is said to have 5G connectivity, a standard design, teardrop notch, triple rectangular camera module, and a fingerprint reader on the side. Here are the specifications and designs we got from the renders. 

TCL 40 R  Design and Specs

According to the new leak, the smartphone is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC and run with 4GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage. 

The smartphone will run on Android 12 out of the box on a 5000mAh battery. A 6.6-inch display with HD+ resolution and a 90 Hz refresh rate will be included with the TCL 40 R. A triple rectangular camera module with LED flash are located at the back. 

The TCL 40 R weighs 192 grams and has dimensions of 164.46 x 75.4 x 8.99 mm. It will support 5G, and 4G LTE connectivity. Bluetooth 5.1, dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS, and a USB Type-C port are also among the available connectivity options. The renders also revealed that there will be a space for a microSD card. Overall, The TCL 40 R has a standard design for a low-cost phone.

Price, Color, and Release Date

TCL has not made any official announcement regarding the launch date. The smartphone is however expected to launch in December 2022. Also, no one has genuine information about the price of the offering but speculation online has it that the price would be around Rs.29,490 in India. The smartphone is expected to be available in Black, Gold color.
