The cinematic trailer isn’t the final version as many assets are incomplete and the animation is a little stiff.

Overwatch 2 is less than a month away, and we still don’t know much about it. The developer has already revealed some new heroes like Junker Queen and Sojourn. However, other characters are still not known to the public.

Another hero Kiriko was unofficially disclosed to the public yesterday. A recently leaked cinematic trailer reveals that the new character wears a fox-themed Japanese attire.

The leaked footage was uploaded on YouTube and was quickly taken down, probably at the behest of the developer. We have a copy embedded above, without the audio. If it gets removed, there are plenty of alternatives out there.

As you can see, the trailer is not the final version. Tons of textures are missing, and animations of several characters are stiff. It’s an older version that is still in the development phase. The video is also in Spanish. However, you can easily follow what’s happening.

We saw Kiriko fighting enemies with a sword and kunai knives. She also revived a deceased old grandpa and used teleportation to chase the bad guys away.

Previous rumors suggest that she can also turn into a fox. However, we didn’t see that in the trailer. Maybe the developer plans to reveal that ability in the future, along with a more polished trailer.
