Dead Space

The same YouTube channel also uploaded the Sackboy PC trailer by mistake.

Dead Space Remake has only been confirmed for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. However, recent antics suggest it could be coming to one past-gen console.

PlayStation Latinoamérica YouTube Channel recently uploaded a trailer for Dead Space. The trailer itself doesn’t concern us. What is interesting is the heading of the video, as it mentions both PS5 and PS4.

Right now, the game has not been confirmed for older consoles. There’s a good chance that the mention of PS4 could just be a human mistake. However, recent shenanigans by the YouTube channel make us think otherwise.

A few days ago, the YouTube page uploaded the PC trailer of Sackboy: A Big Adventure by mistake. The platformer game was confirmed for Windows before initially intended. What if the channel made the same mistake twice?

Dead Space release on PS4 won’t be out of the ordinary. The remake of Resident Evil 4 was initially only confirmed for current-gen consoles and PC. However, we now know that it will release for PS4 as well. Maybe, the publishers aren’t ready to let go of the massive older-gen player base just yet.

We will have to wait for an official announcement from EA to know for sure.
