The next Sony game for PC could be Insomniac’s PS5-only title Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart

Sony may soon release one more PS5-exclusive game for PC players. A recent rumor suggests that Insomniac’s latest title, Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart, could be in development for Windows.

The rumor gains some credibility from a job posting by Nixxes Software, which is looking for a UI/UX engineer with experience in using Coherent middleware. This middleware, developed by Coherent Labs, was employed in Rift Apart and other games for UI design.

Although not officially confirmed, the job posting implies that Nixxes is working on a PC port of Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart, which would make sense given the studio’s previous work on PC versions of Insomniac games, such as Spider-Man Remastered and Miles Morales.

Currently, the last PlayStation first-party game confirmed for PC is The Last of Us Part 1, which will be released on March 28. After that, PC players have no information on what Sony game they can expect, but Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart would be a reasonable guess.
